Toilet Leakage

Modified on Tue, 4 Mar at 11:19 AM

The leakage could be coming from a couple of different places. The first thing I would look at is the lip seal on top of the cassette. If this is wearing, it can cause the toilet to leak between the cassette and the bowl. I would also suggest checking the condition of the mounting flange on the bottom of the toilet bowl for scale, scratches and other deposits.

Lastly, can I check if this has happened after the vehicle has been driven? The toilet has an inbuilt ventilation system to prevent the build-up of gas pressure, but this vent can also allow the contents of the cassette to leak out when the vehicle is driven with a full waste tank.
