Our entire range of additives, along with our bowls are produced entirely in-house. As we develop and manufacture our own additives from the ground up, we have control over every ingredient that is used, and we can confirm there is nothing present in any of our additives that can affect the bowl in this way. We have done extensive in-depth testing into the durability and chemical stability of the plastics used on our toilet bowls and the only substance we have found that causes staining such as this is chlorine bleach, common in the household cleaner market. When using genuine Thetford additives alone, we have never experienced this issue. We can also confirm the toilet bowls are manufactured from the same material we have used for several years.
Whilst we appreciate where you are coming from, we can only stand by the decision we have made with ____________as we do not believe this is a manufacturing defect with the toilet. It is worth mentioning that when we refer to chlorine bleach, we are not just referring to plain bleach (Domestos etc), but also to products containing bleach as an active ingredient. This could be for example bathroom wipes, toilet cleaners, bathroom cleaners etc. In addition, we cannot guarantee the stability of the plastic when used with others manufacturers' additives.
